Qantas Singapore Lounge – Luxury Air Travel Enhanced
Qantas Singapore Lounge
On a photographic assignment organised in November 2016 by Jetabout Holidays (Holiday Tours and Travel) in collaboration with Tourism Australia covering both Sydney and Tasmania, I had the most fortunate opportunity to be invited to experience the expansive and lavish Qantas Lounge located in Singapore Changi International Airport Terminal 1. If you feel as if you are in a hotel ambience , you are spot on. The lounge is managed by The Sofitel hospitality group with a host of high-end pampering including a Neil Perry Rockpool menu, hawker centre-inspired open grill station, a cocktail bar plus a valet service.
The plush and chic lounge certainly reflects Qantas commitment to delivering tip-top services to it’s members, which I can only describe in superlatives terms, hence my title for this article “Air Travel Enhanced” is certainly no exaggeration. I can safely say the lounge eases the ills of air travel and even reinforce the accolades that Changi Airport has come to be known by.

The lounge’s dining option features a dish of the day and tray-around service featuring some popular items from the Sydney and Melbourne First Lounges – including the famous salt & pepper calamari, club sandwiches and mini-burgers. That’s apart from the standing menu and an wide buffet offering.
