Ha Giang Tour Details

Day 1: SINGAPORE - HANOI (Lunch & Dinner)

On arrival, meet up with our guide and transfer to a local restaurant for lunch. After lunch, you will be transferred to the hotel for check in and have the afternoon at leisure. If you are not too tired, join Jensen for a informal workshop on landscape photography before we meet up with our guide again for dinner in a local restaurant.

Overnight: May De Ville Old Quarter Hotel (Deluxe Room)

Day 2: HANOI - HA GIANG (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
After an early breakfast, we shall leave for Ha Giang. This is a long drive but we will be stopping along the way for some great photo spots!

After 4 hours drive from the hotel, you will arrive at a Green Tea Farm in Tuyen Quang Province. The farm here is located on hilly land terraces which create superb scenery. The farms here stretch along the main road about 165KM from Hanoi.

Our experienced guide will bring you to some of the best sites for street photography of locals and their daily life.

Day 3: HA GIANG - DONG VAN (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
We will start as early as possible for a 1 hour 20 minutes’ drive uphill Quan Ba Pass. Dawn lighting from 7:30am to 9:00am offers good photo session of marvelous high mountain range and impressive view of Quan Ba Valley. We will have a few shooting stops on the way uphill to the top as well as downhill Quan Ba Pass!

*If the rice is not ready to be harvested, we will drive to another location (approx. 50-100km from Ha Giang) where there is a good section for shooting the terraced rice fields on the steep slope mountain side.

In the afternoon, we will proceed to Dong Van which featured a vertical limestone cliff and we can also take photo of the Hmong people in their local costume.

On arrival at Lung Cu - the nation's northeast end, you can take a look at the characteristic terraced rice paddy fields, mixed with the local Lo Lo houses in the Seo Lung village at the bottom of the valley. An opportunity to capture the whole scene with sunset before head back to hotel and dinner.

Day 4: DONG VAN - HA GIANG (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
Starting early today for a sunrise photo hunting. We follow a narrow tarmac for 24KM from Dong Van around the Ma Le Valley which is surrounded by wall-up mountains. There are opportunities for shooting landscape as well as houses for the Hmong people living in this valley.
On the way back to Ha Giang, we will stop to explore Lung Tam Valley where we can see the Hmong ladies making traditional textile.

Day 5: HA GIANG - HANOI (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
After an early breakfast, we will check out and spend a few hours shooting the terraced rice paddies in Cao Bo Valley which is about 12KM from Ha Giang city before heading back to Hanoi.

On arrival in Hanoi, check in and rest for the day.

Overnight: May De Ville Old Quarter Hotel (Deluxe Room).

Day 6: HANOI - SINGAPORE (Breakfast)
Free at leisure in the morning till transfer to the airport for your flight home.
